Ivelisse's passion for whole-body wellness is deeply personal. In 2008 she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and given survival odds in the single digits. Choosing an integrative approach combining surgery with complementary therapies, she beat the odds and overcame. That journey changed everything and gave her a firsthand understanding of what the body truly needs to heal.

For the past 16 years Ivelisse and Jimmy have served as the co-founders of Believe Big, a nonprofit that helps cancer patients move through the overwhelm by bridging the gap between conventional and complementary medicine to heal in all aspects of life. Through that work they have walked alongside thousands of patients and families and have been asked again and again for recommendations on products they genuinely trust. That is exactly what led to Wellness Home Direct.

Jimmy also invested nearly 20 years in the healthcare industry as a leader in wellness, health and fitness, rehabilitation, and prevention. He ran the wellness division for hospital systems and corporate health and fitness centers and is a certified Nike Sports Performance Coach. As a lifelong athlete he trains and competes in Spartan races, and understands firsthand what the body needs to perform, recover, and thrive at every stage of life.

Together their expertise and hands-on experience with infrared therapy, cold immersion, advanced hydration, and air quality gives Wellness Home Direct a level of real-world knowledge that goes far beyond most wellness platforms.
